Raptors

Eagles, hawks, kites, harriers, falcons, owls, and ospreys are all raptors, or birds of prey. Vultures are sometimes included.

What characteristics do raptors share? Sharp, hooked beaks for cutting and tearing meat, great eyesight, and powerful feet with sharp, curved talons that help them capture their prey. And, yes, they are related to those ferocious velociraptors.
